We know people recover better at home, and unnecessary extended stays in hospital have really negative impacts on people\u2019s health; especially older people. That\u2019s why this work is so important to get right.<\/p>\n<p>One of the things we\u2019re doing to support this work is to develop communications campaigns and activity to share information and awareness about the support available for people outside of hospital, as well as messaging and communications to support staff working to deliver those services.<\/p>\n<p>We want to test the messages we have started to design with the people we are aiming these at and are holding a series of focus groups to talk through some concepts and ideas. We are looking for people who would be interested in taking part in these sessions and give us their views.<\/p>\n<p>The groups we are looking at are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Frontline social workers \u2013 those working with people needing care on daily basis<\/li>\n<li>Community therapists<\/li>\n<li>General public \u2013 particularly those who may have had a hospital stay or received support in the community<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The details of the sessions are below.
