Book your COVID-19 vaccination or attend a walk-in clinic

Response to the new Omicron variant of COVID-19

On Monday 29 November the Joint Committee on Vaccinations and Immunisations made a series of recommendations to expand the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme in response to the new coronavirus variant Omicron. There are no changes to the current Vaccination Programme in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) until we receive the national guidance on how these recommendations will be implemented.

In the meantime, if you are currently eligible for any of your vaccinations, please come forward. A full list of who is currently eligible can be found here.

This page provides a link to the National Booking Service for people who are eligible to book a COVID-19 vaccination and a list of walk-in vaccination clinics in our area. You do not need an appointment to attend a walk-in clinic, but please ensure you are eligible for vaccination and check that the clinic you plan to visit offers the vaccination you need. More information on eligibility can be found on our Local Information page.

Everyone aged 12 and over can now have their COVID-19 vaccination, so please don’t delay. If you are 12 and over, you can book a vaccination appointment using the online National Booking Service or by calling 119. Anyone aged 16 and over can also attend one of the walk-in clinics listed below – please check details of the clinic you plan to attend for ages and vaccine-type. You may also be contacted by your GP.

When you come for your vaccination, please bring a face covering, your booking reference or NHS number if you know it, and remember to eat and drink before your appointment.

You do not have to be registered with a GP, have an NHS number or be documented in order to have your vaccination. If you are in this position, please attend a walk-in clinic or contact a GP to book your vaccination, explaining your situation.

Please do not come for your vaccination if you have symptoms of COVID-19, are currently isolating, have had a positive lateral flow test, or are waiting for the results of a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test. If you have tested positive for COVID-19 you must wait 28 days before you are vaccinated.
