A ganglion cyst is a fluid-filled swelling that develops near a joint or a tendon. Ganglions can occur alongside any joint in the body, but are most common on the wrist, hand and fingers.

All referrals from primary care must go through the MSK Interface Service.  A decision to make an onward referral to secondary care, will be based on the information in the patient’s primary care record and referral letter.
