The South Bristol Locality Partnership is one of six locality partnerships across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, and serves a population of 154,000 people across 14 GP practices.

South Bristol Locality Partnership brings together colleagues from across health and social care with the voluntary sector and other groups that offer support to communities in South Bristol.

Local residents are helping us to understand their needs so that we can reshape services to support people to stay well.

Our priorities

Our key priorities are to:

• Increase child healthy weight by reducing the number of children who are overweight at ages 4-5 years old
• Reduce alcohol misuse and subsequent harm from alcohol, with an aim of reducing the rate of hospital admissions for alcohol-specific conditions
• Reduce the number of falls in people aged 65 and above.
