Neurodiversity celebrates the value that our different strengths can bring to the world. It isn\u2019t a new concept \u00ad\u2013 neurodiversity has always existed in every society. People living with these conditions are sometimes referred to as neurodivergent people. They are sometimes referred to as neurodevelopmental disorders. Neurodevelopmental conditions include autism, ADHD, Tourette\u2019s syndrome, specific learning disorders such as dyslexia and dyspraxia, and some speech and language disorders. Sometimes learning disabilities are also referred to as neurodevelopmental conditions.<\/p>\n<p>This website focuses primarily on autism and ADHD. This is because the neurodiversity transformation programme carried out in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire identified a need for improved access to information and support on those conditions. However, the website also points people to information on a range of other conditions, to support Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire&#8217;s wider neurodivergent community.<\/p>\n<p>People who are living with one or more neurodevelopmental condition are neurodivergent.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n  <\/div>\r\n<\/section><\/div><!--
