\u00c9valuation de l'impact de la formation sur le d\u00e9pistage et le traitement de la malnutrition<\/h1>\n

En 2016, notre \u00c9quipe de recherche<\/a> Nous avons con\u00e7u et administr\u00e9 une enqu\u00eate aupr\u00e8s du personnel de sant\u00e9 communautaire afin d'explorer leur exp\u00e9rience en mati\u00e8re de formation sur la malnutrition et sur la mani\u00e8re de l'identifier chez leurs patients.<\/p>\n

L'enqu\u00eate a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que la formation a permis de sensibiliser davantage le personnel de sant\u00e9 communautaire \u00e0 l'importance du d\u00e9pistage de la malnutrition. Ce d\u00e9pistage inclut la prise de mesures de la taille et du poids pour calculer l'indice de masse corporelle (IMC), le signalement des pertes de poids inexpliqu\u00e9es et l'utilisation des recommandations pour \u00e9laborer un plan de soins.<\/p>\n

Notre impact<\/h2>\n

La formation a permis au personnel de comprendre l'importance du d\u00e9pistage de la malnutrition et de rep\u00e9rer et corriger l'utilisation inappropri\u00e9e des compl\u00e9ments nutritionnels oraux. Il en a r\u00e9sult\u00e9 une augmentation du nombre de personnes d\u00e9pist\u00e9es pour la malnutrition et de celles qui se voient proposer des conseils ax\u00e9s sur une alimentation saine. Cette approche consiste \u00e0 traiter la malnutrition en privil\u00e9giant les aliments et les boissons nutritifs du quotidien, comme la consommation de collations nutritives entre les repas et l'ajout de produits riches en mati\u00e8res grasses et en sucre aux aliments.<\/p>\n

Suite \u00e0 l'\u00e9valuation, le CCG a rendu obligatoire l'utilisation par le prestataire de sant\u00e9 communautaire MUST \u2013 l\u2019outil de d\u00e9pistage universel de la malnutrition<\/a>, et des rapports sur les r\u00e9sultats.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/section><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
