\u0aa4\u0ac7 \u0a87\u0aa8\u0acd\u0a9f\u0abf\u0a97\u0acd\u0ab0\u0ac7\u0a9f\u0ac7\u0aa1 \u0a95\u0ac7\u0ab0 \u0aac\u0acb\u0ab0\u0acd\u0aa1 (ICB)<\/a> for Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) has appointed Jo Hicks as Chief People Officer.<\/p>\n

The ICB is the new statutory body within the wider Integrated Care System (ICS) for the area, known as the Healthier Together Partnership<\/a>. Together, the 10 partner organisations which make-up the ICS, work to improve health and wellbeing, reduce inequalities, and provide integrated services for the one million people living in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.<\/p>\n

Jo has over 25 years\u2019 experience in leading and driving change across large organisations as a workforce, leadership and organisational development specialist. She is currently in post as Deputy Chief People Officer and Director of Strategy, Leadership and Belonging at the Ministry of Justice.<\/p>\n

Speaking about her appointment, Jo said:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am delighted to be returning to the NHS to become the ICB\u2019s Chief People Officer.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a really exciting time to be joining the organisation and I look forward to working with the executive team and wider workforce to enable our people to flourish and provide the best services for the populations we serve.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cI am thrilled to be welcoming Jo to the organisation, completing our executive team structure for the ICB. Jo has a clear passion for people and brings a wealth of experience of working across public services at a local and national level.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn her role, Jo will lead the development and delivery of the long-term people strategy for the ICS, while building further on our strong relationships with local health and care system leaders.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Jo Hicks will be taking up the role of Chief People Officer towards the end of February 2023.<\/p>\n
