Care, Education and Treatment Reviews for young people<\/h1>\n

Care, Education and Treatment Reviews (CETRs) form part of NHS England’s Transforming Care commitment.<\/p>\n

They are offered to young people under the age of 18 who have learning disabilities and\/or autistic people who are in mental health hospital placements, at risk of admission or are receiving Day Patient care.<\/p>\n

CETRs work to ensure that a young person is not admitted to hospital unnecessarily or, if the young person requires admission, to ensure that their stay is as short as possible.<\/p>\n

NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire ICB works with local providers to identify those children and young people who are at risk of admission.<\/p>\n
