These additional appointments will mean more people can get the treatment they need, when they need it &#8211; helping to relieve pain, prevent complications, and avoid unnecessary discomfort. It\u2019s an important step in supporting people to stay well and avoid dental issues from escalating.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Through this offer of urgent dental appointments, practices will be able to support people with painful or worrying problems that aren\u2019t life-threatening but still need treatment urgently. This may include:\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Swelling or infections in the face or mouth that are getting worse (but not affecting breathing)<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Severe dental or facial pain that can\u2019t be eased with normal painkillers<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Broken or badly moved teeth after an accident<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Knocked-out baby teeth<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Facial injuries that may need a hospital check<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Bleeding in the mouth that you cannot stop\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Gum or mouth infections, like painful or rapidly worsening gum disease or cold sore outbreaks<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">These appointments, although not urgent, may also be eligible for NHS dental treatment if you have any of the following dental issues:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;\" data-contrast=\"auto\">Mild to moderate toothache that responds to painkillers\u202f<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;\" data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Small dental injuries, like a bumped tooth, that may need checking\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Minor bleeding after having a tooth out that you can stop yourself\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Loose or broken crowns, bridges, or veneers that aren\u2019t affecting breathing\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Dentures or other dental appliances that don\u2019t fit right and are uncomfortable\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Broken fillings or parts of teeth\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Teeth that are wobbly but not at risk of falling out\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Small swellings that aren\u2019t spreading\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Sensitive areas on the teeth or gums\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">People\u202fwill be able to access these appointments by contacting their usual NHS dental practice, using the ICB website to find a local practice\u202for calling NHS 111 if they do not have a regular dentist or need\u202fhelp out\u202fof hours.\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">While all NHS dental practices provide urgent appointments, the following practices are providing a collective 19,000 extra urgent appointments.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Bristol<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lodgecausewaydentalcentre.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Centrum stomatologiczne Lodge Causeway<\/span><\/a><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/twindentdentalcare.co.uk\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Opieka stomatologiczna Twindent<\/span><\/a><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/stpaulsdentalbristol.co.uk\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Praktyka stomatologiczna \u015bw.
