The services are now integrated, which means they work together to support people who need help with their mental health. The service planners recognised the importance of understanding the service user experience to measure and improve service quality, so they have developed a Person Reported Experience Measure (PREM). This survey will explore people\u2019s experiences using the new integrated community mental health service.<\/p>\n<h2>The Clinical Effectiveness team\u2019s impact<\/h2>\n<p>\u062f \u0628\u0631\u06d0\u0633\u067c\u0648\u0644\u060c \u0634\u0645\u0627\u0644\u064a \u0633\u0645\u0631\u0633\u06cc\u067c \u0627\u0648 \u062c\u0646\u0648\u0628\u064a \u06ab\u0644\u0648\u0633\u06cc\u0633\u067c\u0631\u0634\u0627\u06cc\u0631 NHS \u062f \u0627\u0646\u0633\u062a\u06cc\u062a\u0648\u062a\u064a \u067e\u0627\u0645\u0644\u0631\u0646\u06d0 \u0628\u0648\u0631\u0689 <a href=\"https:\/\/bnssg.icb.nhs.uk\/about-us\/research-and-evidence\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Clinical Effectiveness team<\/a> supported the development of the PREM by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gathering information about how existing local mental health support services were collecting user experience<\/li>\n<li>Undertaking a literature review of potentially relevant experience measures<\/li>\n<li>Developing a list of potential PREMs and engaging with a range of stakeholders to review the list and agree on what should be included in a PREM to capture the experiences of people accessing community mental health services across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This work has resulted in a five-question, bespoke PREM for use in Community Mental Health services across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. These questions measure different aspects of service users\u2019 experience. Two of the questions came from the <a href=\"https:\/\/gbr01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nhs.uk%2Fusing-the-nhs%2Fabout-the-nhs%2Ffriends-and-family-test-fft%2F&amp;data=05%7C01%7Cmiles.jordan%40nhs.net%7C40c53417ec0447d3120c08db082f1f4c%7C37c354b285b047f5b22207b48d774ee3%7C0%7C0%7C638112771755635656%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=IKXOdTeFcceXqQGTBzrMoqfsiidqBwPCH5YWrG1QZ9w%3D&amp;reserved=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Friends and Family Test<\/a>, a measure used by all NHS services since 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Community Mental Health PREM will be available in paper and digital formats in multiple languages. Two services will pilot the PREM for six months in 2023 to explore how it works. This test and learn evaluation will help service planners understand if the measure is useful for service improvement and acceptable to people using mental health services.
