   <h1><strong>How the Intelligence Centre will keep data secure<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) set out strict controls on how personal data is used. An <a href=\"https:\/\/bnssghealthiertogether.org.uk\/library\/bristol-north-somerset-and-south-gloucestershire-information-sharing-charter\/\">Information Sharing Charter <\/a>has been created that provides a framework for safely sharing data between organisations within our Integrated Care System (ICS), whilst maintaining those strict controls.<\/p>\n<p>By signing up to the Charter, organisations agree to comply with all data sharing regulations and data protection laws. In return, local health and care organisations will receive access to the Intelligence Centre.<\/p>\n<p>The Charter will also ensure:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There is one consistent approach to data sharing within our area, reducing the need for individual project agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Data will only be accessed by approved leads working within our ICS for an agreed specific purpose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All data held within the Intelligence Centre will be pseudonymised.
