risk from a COVID infection. This includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;\">all adults aged 75 years and over<\/span><\/li>\n<li>residents in a care home for older adults<\/li>\n<li>persons aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed, as defined in tables 3 and 4 of the COVID-19 chapter of the <a style=\"font-size: 1.125rem;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/covid-19-the-green-book-chapter-14a\" rel=\"noopener\">Cartea Verde<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Household contacts of people with a weakened immune system are not eligible. People in other clinical risk groups who do not fall into the above categories are also not eligible.<\/p>\n<p>For the spring 2026 vaccine, The\u00a0Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) is prioritising groups most vulnerable to serious outcomes from COVID-19 including those aged 75 or over, living in older adult care homes, and those who are immunosuppressed and eligible. You may be contacted by your GP surgery and invited to book an appointment.
