To help foster these relationships, NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire ICB offers the Researcher in Residence fellowship.<\/p>\n<p>The Researcher in Residence role facilitates the <a href=\"https:\/\/bnssghealthiertogether.org.uk\/integrated-care-board\/research-and-evidence\/knowledge-mobilisation\/\">Knowledge Mobilisation<\/a> initiative in primary healthcare.<\/p>\n<p>The Researcher in Residence will have a key role in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>identifying NHS research questions that are relevant to commissioners\u2019 interests<\/li>\n<li>acting as a conduit between NHS staff with research ideas and the academic community<\/li>\n<li>developing ideas into grant applications, focusing specifically on National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) funded schemes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Researchers can be seconded for 3-12 months part-time, to be negotiated on successful appointment.
