The Stroke Programme board

The stroke programme board is made up of stroke survivors, senior clinicians and staff who have been working together to redesign services in line with national standards and ensure that more lives are saved from stroke each year.

The group is chaired by Dr Chris Burton, Clinical Lead for the Stroke Programme and Medical Director at North Bristol NHS Trust and Rebecca Dunn, Deputy Director of Transformation, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group and Programme Director for Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Stroke Programme.

The group has representation from University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust, North Bristol NHS Trust, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group, Sirona care & health, Bristol University, Bristol After Stroke, Bristol Health Partners, South West Ambulance Service NHS foundation Trust and Stroke Association.
