{"id":49947,"date":"2026-10-02T13:07:18","date_gmt":"2026-10-02T12:07:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bnssghealthiertogether.org.uk\/?p=49947"},"modified":"2026-10-02T13:07:18","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T12:07:18","slug":"topping-out-takes-place-at-westons-new-health-hub","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bnssghealthiertogether.org.uk\/ur\/news\/topping-out-takes-place-at-westons-new-health-hub\/","title":{"rendered":"Topping out takes place at Weston&#8217;s new health hub"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"assembler_default-group assembler_module_group assembler_default-group_1 assembler_module_group_1\"><div class=\"assembler_module_area assembler_module_area_1\"><div class=\"assembler_text-module assembler_module assembler_text-module_1 assembler_module_1  transparent\"><a tabindex=\"-1\" title=\"\u0633\u06cc\u06a9\u0634\u0646 \u062c\u0633 \u06a9\u0627 \u0639\u0646\u0648\u0627\u0646 \u0645\u0627\u0688\u06cc\u0648\u0644-1 \u06c1\u06d2\" id=\"module-1\" href=\"https:\/\/bnssghealthiertogether.org.uk\/ur\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/49947\/#module-1\" class=\"anchor\"><span class=\"hidden\">\u0633\u06cc\u06a9\u0634\u0646 \u062c\u0633 \u06a9\u0627 \u0639\u0646\u0648\u0627\u0646 \u0645\u0627\u0688\u06cc\u0648\u0644-1 \u06c1\u06d2<\/span><\/a><!-- Template found for text-module - Template: template-text - Matched: _only --><section class=\"w-full mx-auto max-w-content pt-12 sm:pt-24 pb-12 sm:pb-24\">\r\n  <div class=\"entry-content w-full !px-0 max-w-small\">\r\n        <h1>T<strong>opping out takes place at Weston&#8217;s new health hub<\/strong><\/h1>\n<time class=\"post_date_shortcode\">2 \u0627\u06a9\u062a\u0648\u0628\u0631 2026<\/time>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A topping out ceremony has been held in Weston-super-Mare as a new \u00a315 million town centre health hub continues to take shape.<\/p>\n<p>The health centre and GP surgery at Sunnyside Road North will provide facilities serving up to 12,500 people once it is completed next summer.<\/p>\n<p>The wider masterplan for the project includes the provision of around 200 new one and two-bedroom apartment homes on land that is part of the home of Weston-super-Mare Rugby Club, along with a site on the Recreation Ground earmarked for a new primary school, to be provided by North Somerset Council.<\/p>\n<p>The project is being delivered by RED Group and led by Bristol-based property developer StudioHIVE together with its partner Atlas Land, working in partnership with North Somerset Council, the NHS and the rugby club.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives from the various partners were joined by Weston-super-Mare MP Dan Aldridge at the topping out ceremony, which saw James Howard, development director at StudioHIVE, use a signed and engraved trowel to symbolically complete the final cast of concrete on the upstand.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jason Collard, managing director of StudioHIVE, was joined by several colleagues at the topping out.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe\u2019ve been involved in this project for a number of years and it\u2019s fantastic to have reached this point,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is one of the largest health buildings being delivered anywhere in the UK and it will form part of an exciting future for Weston-super-Mare. The town really needs this new facility and it will have a really positive impact on the health and well-being of the area.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Dan Aldridge, MP for Weston-super-Mare, said: <\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWeston needs a health care service fit for the next generation, and I am so proud that the government is investing into Weston. My family and friends use the existing Graham Road surgery and they will patients when the new health hub replaces it.
