David Jarrett has been working in NHS management roles since joining the NHS General Management Training Scheme in 1997. He spent a number of years in hospital management roles, including 10 years at North Bristol NHS Trust as Divisional Manager for Surgical and Women’s and Children’s Services.

In 2013, David moved to NHS South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) as Director of Operations. From 2017, he became Area Director for South Gloucestershire and Bristol at NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire CCG. He then held the role of Chief Delivery Officer at NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire ICB.
