New Chair confirmed at Integrated Care Partnership Board meeting

Health, care and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations from across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire came together on 16 June for the Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) Board meeting.

Taking place at City Hall, Bristol, it was confirmed that Councillor (Cllr) Helen Holland will take on the role of chair for the next 12 months. Cllr Holland is also Chair of Bristol City Council’s Health and Wellbeing Board.

During the meeting time was given for a detailed discussion around the Integrated Care System Strategy. It was agreed that subject to some further edits, the Board were in support of publishing the document as a first edition on 30 June.

Cllr Mike Bell, the outgoing Chair of the ICP Board, said:

“As it’s my last meeting in the role of Chair, I’d like to thank everyone for their efforts in the development of our shared system strategy – a lot of good progress has been made.

While this version of the strategy is nearing completion, it will of course continue to evolve and we must keep the conversations and momentum going so our organisations can collectively deliver on our commitments.”

The ICP Board meeting papers are available on the ICB website. The next meeting is due to take place on 28 September 2023, location to be confirmed.

Further information on the Strategy and its development, is available on the Strategy pages of the Healthier Together website.
