Functional Neurological Disorders – Ambulance services recognition, care and management of FND patient presentations

The funding will be used to develop a research team with RDS support, engage with PPI and engage with clinical experts in the FND field.

It will also be used to work with PPI contributors, clinical experts and the research team to develop a research question to explore the prevalence and management of FND by ambulance staff; to understand how to improve the prehospital treatment of FND to improve outcomes for patients and to reduce inappropriate resource use.
