The Children and Young People’s Vanguard for Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire was highly commended in the Reducing Inequalities and Improving Outcomes for Children and Young People Award at the HSJ awards on Thursday 20 November 2025. 

As the UK Health Security Agency issues a cold health alert and temperatures drop across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, health and care services are encouraging local people to Stay Well This Winter with a new health and wellbeing campaign.

The Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Information Sharing Charter has now gone live – setting a new standard for secure and streamlined data sharing across our local health and care organisations.

The NHS in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire is working hard to keep people safe during the planned resident doctors strikes that are due to take place from 7am on Friday 14 November to 7am on Wednesday 19 November.
