VCSE organisations and system partners invited to participate in engagement for two new services
10 November 2025
NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is inviting feedback and ideas from system partners and Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations as part of a pre-market engagement to help shape and deliver two new VCSE services.
This engagement will help NHS Bristol North Somerset and South Gloucestershire ICB understand who is interested in delivering, supporting or using the new services. It forms part of a wider initiative to strengthen relationships between the NHS and the VCSE sector across our area, and follows a recent update to the ICB commissioning intentions for strategic investments in local VCSE structures and development.
The engagement focuses on the commissioning of two new VCSE services aimed at enhancing local integration and contributing to the ongoing transformation of the health and care system:
- VCSE Structure and Strategy: creating a structure within the VCSE system so that the VCSE sector can be an equal partner in the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire health and care system.
- VCSE Support and Deliver: enabling and supporting a mature VCSE market that can deliver health and care services in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
A notice for the VCSE Structure and Strategy service is live on Find a Tender, with system partners and VCSE organisations invited to submit responses by 24 November 2025.
A notice for the VCSE Support and Deliver service will be published on 27 November 2025.
