Bristol Ambulance (BAEMS Ltd) patient transport service

We are aware that a petition has been lodged to wind up Bristol Ambulance (BAEMS Ltd), which provides patient transport services for people in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. We are working with Bristol Ambulance and other NHS partners to understand the implications of this and ensure that services are maintained for local people.

Local patient transport services continue to be provided on a business-as-usual basis, and eligible patients should continue to use the রোগী পরিবহন হাব phone number and website as normal to book transport.

It is possible that delays may be experienced following this announcement and we ask patients to consider using family or alternative transport arrangements where possible.

South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is not affected by this development, and people should continue to call 999 in a life-threatening emergency.
