Intervenants clés pour l'autisme et les troubles d'apprentissage

A Keyworker from the Keyworker team will be allocated to support individuals with a learning disability and/or autistic people, who have been identified as high need on the Dynamic Support Register and are at risk of a CAMHS inpatient admission or restrictive practices.

The role of a Keyworker is to be a single point of contact for a young person and their family, helping them navigate and identify the services they are entitled to.

A Keyworker will ensure that young people are engaged in the decision-making process regarding their care and that their voice is heard and listened to by all professionals.

A Keyworker does not replace or replicate any other service that young people should receive but will help break down the barriers they may face when asking for access to the support and care they need.

The aim of a Keyworker is to help the young person feel safer and happier and to help them achieve their goals and ambitions.
