The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) set out strict controls on how personal data is used. An Information Sharing Charter has been created that provides a framework for safely sharing data between organisations within our Integrated Care System (ICS), whilst maintaining those strict controls.
By signing up to the Charter, organisations agree to comply with all data sharing regulations and data protection laws. In return, local health and care organisations will receive access to the Intelligence Centre.
The Charter will also ensure:
All data held within the Intelligence Centre will be pseudonymised. This means that information used to identify you personally, such as your name or NHS number, will not be visible to people working with your data.
The Local Analytical Hub and Strategic Commissioning Tool FDP Product Privacy Notices explain how your data is used to assess, better understand and manage healthcare delivery for the local populations. It explains what information is collected, the purpose for processing this data, who it may be shared with, and the legal grounds that apply. It also outlines how your information is kept secure and the ways it is used to support better health outcomes. Read the privacy notices.
