If you are worried about cancer
If you are worried about unexplained changes to your body, such as the sudden appearance of a lump, blood in your urine, or a change to your usual bowel habits, then you should contact your GP surgery as soon as possible.
Your symptoms can be caused by a number of conditions, which may include cancer, so it is important to be seen quickly. The earlier a cancer is found, the higher the chance of successful treatment
Symptoms are often caused by other relatively minor illnesses, but it’s vital to get it checked out and to put your mind at rest.
You may be referred to Spitalet Universitare të Bristolit dhe Westonit NHS Foundation Trust ose Trusti i NHS-së i Bristolit të Veriut who will make sure you get the tests you need and discuss any care and treatment options. This is called an Urgent Suspected Cancer Referral. It’s important to know that most people referred in on this pathway do not have cancer.
